In Honor: Friend.

This piece is in honor of a friend I don't talk to anymore, who was my best friend in high school. They were my only friend during the pandemic and we came to be very close; me and my family helped them apply to college, they drove me to school, and we were overall just very involved in each other's lives. They'd been struggling with mental health issues and faded away, their personality changed drastically down to their principles and they stopped coming by, they didn't answer texts,, they disappeared. Lately they've reached out and we are trying to reconnect. I wanted to represent the feeling of a friendship fading away but also honor them and how happy, understood and tranquil they made me feel :) this song is something we'd listen to -
